San Francisco magazine's 23rd Annual Best of the Bay celebration, held on July 13th in the heart of downtown San Francisco, was a spectacular evening dedicated to showcasing the city's finest offerings. The event, benefiting the V Foundation for Cancer Research, was a testament to the city’s vibrant culture, culinary excellence, and community spirit. The event also aligned with the It All Starts Here civic pride movement, emphasizing the importance of community and shared pride in San Francisco’s achievements and future potential.
Guests enjoyed an unforgettable night filled with gourmet cuisine, exceptional wines and spirits, and captivating entertainment from SF Jazz, DJ King Most, and DJ TOY.
The highlight of the evening was the diverse array of culinary delights and beverages presented by some of the city's most esteemed chefs and establishments. From the exquisite dishes crafted by Chef Tyler Florence of Miller & Lux and Wayfare Tavern to the unique flavors offered by Chef Mourad Lalou of Mourad and Aziza, Chef Ray Lee from Akikos, and Chef Mark Sullivan from Spruce, attendees were treated to a culinary journey like no other. The beverage selection was equally impressive, featuring offerings from top wineries and distilleries, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.
